MANNA SINGH VYAM GOND ARTIST of MADHYA PRADESH
Manna Singh Vyam has chosen peacock as his main motif. As a child when he would go to the forest with his cattle, he would be mesmerized by peacocks and peahens as they roamed around in the forest. He would quietly observe them and would pick up their feathers which they left behind on the grass. Manna Singh`s daughter Anita has also started drawing on paper. Her main motif is the tree which she prefers to draw with ink. She is keen to do graduation and then take up some job which would then help her to buy canvases and colours and paint and draw on huge canvases, as huge as the trees.
